Information about the presentation: Whatever you’ve been dealing with during the pandemic, there’s a good chance it involves some upheaval in your household. Maybe you needed to create a space where you could work from home, quickly set up a study center for your children, or learn to live with more people under foot all day long. Even as more communities open up, your continuing challenge may be to find even one small place in your home where you can escape from these trying times.
A practitioner of contemporary Feng Shui for more than 22 years, Carol will share simple Feng Shui changes that can help achieve calm in our chaotic times. Feng Shui principles tell us that that “you are what you see,” so Carol will use art from the NMC Artist Registry to illustrate specific tips for using these principles to support your health and wellness while you attract harmony in the face of chaos. There will be ample time for your questions.
Carol M. Olmstead, FSIA, is a Feng Shui master practitioner, author, and speaker. Carol first learned about Feng Shui more than 22 years ago when she was a marketing consultant. She re-arranged the furniture in her office and two weeks later signed a contract to consult for a week in Hawaii — that extended into a second week after she got there. Carol was convinced that Feng Shui made the difference! She earned Professional Feng Shui Certification from the Feng Shui Institute of America, and was awarded Red Ribbon Professional designation from the International Feng Shui Guild. In addition to previous presentations for NMC-NMWA, Carol has taught Feng Shui to the Smithsonian Institution, Marriott, IKEA, the U.S. Mint, and NASA among other groups. She provided Feng Shui design advice for the exhibition "Sacred Realm: Blessings and Good Fortune Across Asia" at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe.
Carol’s first book, the award-winning Feng Shui Quick Guide For Home and Office: Secrets for Attracting Wealth, Harmony, and Love, demystifies this 5,000-year-old design tradition and shows how to unblock energy and transform your life. Her ebook, 365 Feng Shui Secrets, includes a tip for every day of the year. In her new book for 2020, Feng Shui to the Rescue: Rearrange Your Space, Shift Your Energy, Transform Your Life!, Carol answers 400 of the most-asked questions, plus shares topic-specific tips, and includes success stories from her clients who used these with great success. She specializes in recommending Feng Shui advice for dealing with troubled times, chaos, and clutter. Through her consulting practice Feng Shui For Real Life, Carol Olmstead has taught thousands of clients, students, and readers the simple secrets of using contemporary Feng Shui to improve their lives. Now through this session, she will share them with you. You can read more about Carol at www.FengShuiForRealLife.com.
